The Food Lion Taste of Charlotte Festival is the largest annual festival held in Uptown Charlotte. Meet, Eat, Drink, and Play! This year the festival is hosted back in Uptown on Tryon Street for 6 blocks, bringing local restaurants to you!

Each restaurant features 3 menu items for you to Taste, so hundreds of new tastings!

FREE ADMISSION: There's no cost to walk up and down the festival grounds, but you will need to purchase coins to taste all the food and beverage goodies. Grab your coins, a festival brochure map, and GET STARTED! Coin Booths located at every stadium entrance.

The Best of the Taste judging occurs on Friday and winners are announced on the Luzianne Tea Main Stage for different food categories awards. Local Craft Beer, New Wine and more beverages in the Tavern at the Taste and Wine Cellar.

Visit our 3 stages with live music and entertainment on the Main Stage all weekend long, plus live music in the Tavern and the Wine Cellar.

Kids activities, peppered throughout the event site and on the field, take coins for rides, or get a wristband for unlimited rides, slides, and more!

- Immerse yourself in Cheerwine's southern history at the Rowan Museum’s Cheerwine exhibit, featuring rare memorabilia on loan from Cheerwine and private collectors.

- Sample delicious Cheerwine-infused craft beer from regional craft breweries.

- Play at the F&M Bank Fun Zone, which will include entertainment and activities for little ones.

The 33rd Annual Burlington Carousel Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5, 2024!

This event features live music at multiple stages, arts & crafts fair, food & a beer garden. Amusement Park Rides & fun for the whole family will fill Burlington’s City Park throughout the weekend. Event entry & the amusement park rides (carousel, train, planes, cars & boats) are FREE but don’t forget to bring spending money for shopping, kids activities, inflatables, food and other fun features. We hope to see you at the largest event hosted in the City of Burlington!

Shop our local vendor market featuring small businesses from all over the Triad! We'll shut down our parking lot to make room for all this talent, but don't worry - we'll pull out the traditional Ofest style tables for additional seating!
